Service and food was great but if there was a place to eat at this place it would be awesome. Be prepared to get it to go, calling in your order is a good idea.

I have visited this location many times in the past few years and it has been a wonderful experience but today was the total opposite. I called to do a pickup order and the man who answered hung up on me many times and did not get my order down correctly. I then picked up my order and same man had an attitude. Payed and went to my hotel to eat and I noticed we did not receive any cilantro, onions, and instead we received old radish’s (see picture) the tacos were old tasting and hard stale tortillas. The ramen was lacking flavor. Overall just tasted like store bought flavors. I will not be going back unfortunately. Not sure if there is new management or what but do not waste your money here. It may have been good years ago but this is no longer the case…. There was also some strange flakes in one of the flavorless salsas…

It was my first time in LA, visiting from Vancouver, Canada. The worker here was so nice, and the food was amazing! I already want to come back to LA just for the food and the exceptional service here.

I love everyone and everything about Birrieria San Marcos!! Food and service is always great, even when I’ve had mishaps in my orders they’re always super understanding and accommodating. Everyone has to try the San Marcos Style Tacos, the avocado on the birria just hits different!! And do not forget to order the consomé (broth) on the side 😇

On a girls' trip to visit a bestie in L.A., this was the perfect Sunday night dinner before flying out 😍 All the tacos were cooked to perfect, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! The San Marcos was my personal favorite. My girls had the birria ramen and boy, do they serve a hefty amount! They couldn't finish it all so unless you've got a huge appetite, share a bowl and grab a taco on the inside 😊 I can't wait to go back for more!!!! Soo delicious. Great people and great service... ...but you'll have to try them out for yourself!

what can I say, by far the best birria tacos I have had. great flavor and perfect execution. I’m happy they use 2 tortillas for each taco. portions are huge and they put plenty of condiments.

Some nights when it’s late and the munchies hit, I lay awake thinking about the tacos at Birrieria San Marcos. These are by far the best Birria tacos I have had from California to New York! I stood in the line, waited patiently for my order and then I was in heaven. You can taste the love and and passion these tacos are made with in every bite. The consume is dripping with flavor and elevates the equally flavorful tacos to another level. I love the cool tartness of the radishes served along side fresh pico. Eating these delicious tacos under the LA sun is peak happiness for me. I can’t wait for my next trip back home to my beloved home state of California. I’m coming back for your Birrieria San Marcos! Be ready :)

EVERYTHING IS GOOD HERE, SERIOUSLY!! Bombizzity eats! Believe it! No seating or chairs but who cares, the food is an instant hook!! Treat it as an immobile food truck but with seriously damn good food! A bit on the expensive side($25 for a burrito and a quesadilla)but still VERY TASTY with big portions, enough to feed two people with terrific food, so definitely worth it! And trustworthy and consistent too! I know I can always count on the Hazeltine location to provide me with fresh, clean and delicious food! Also, the employees are very nice and kind people! Highly recommended! 10/10. Can't go wrong here!
